St. Benedict lost a friend on Friday, March 1st. Father Hugh Fullmer spent many hours here at St. Benedict for the last seven years always eager to help when needed, as well as attending activities we had here. We will miss him.

Father Hugh will be lying in state on Thursday, March 14th from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 701 S Eola Rd., Aurora, IL 60504. There will be a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m.

The Most Reverend Ronald Hicks, Bishop of Joliet, will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 15th at 11:00 a.m.

The interment is private.
