Dear parishioners,
Each and every one of you are valuable to the St. Benedict Community. In the midst of the pandemic it can be easy to feel disconnected, to wonder how am I contributing to the spiritual growth in our parish?
I firmly believe in the power of prayer, and so I am asking every parishioner to pray for a specific request each week.
August 30th – Sept. 5th; Please pray for: For all who have been economically impacted by the pandemic.
Soo many people are struggling to make ends meet. Please remember your family members, friends, neighbors, fellow parishioners in prayer.
September 6th – 12th; Please pray for: For an end to random violence; deep seated stereotyping; rush to judgement; and unjust treatment of others based on education, ability, or skin tone in our country
Every week we hear of more innocent lives taken, unjust treatment, extreme acts of violence, and destruction of property. Please pray for all the victims
Knowing someone is thinking about you, praying for you, can make all the positive difference in the world. Thank you for uniting with one another in prayer!
Stay safe and healthy,
Blessings, Fr. Mark
